When you don't need the flip door, slot the brick plug into the opening and you've converted your lamp working kiln into a full brick kiln, ready for fusing and slumping work. Two kilns in one footprint, no compromise on either job.
It runs on standard 120V household power with a regular NEMA 5-15 plug, so there's no electrician visit, no special outlet, no studio rewiring. Plug it into the wall and fire. Maxes out at 1700°F, which covers annealing, full fuse, tack fuse, and slumping for the size of work this kiln handles.
