Our glass & jewelry kilns are compact, fast-cycling kilns sized for small-scale glass and jewelry work — fused glass pendants and cabochons, enameling, vitrigraph stringer pulling, and lampwork bead annealing. These are Hot-Shot specialty kilns, many available as quick-ship, with the full manufacturer warranty.

Key Advantages

  • Right-sized for jewelry work — small chambers heat and cool quickly, so you're not running a full-size kiln for cabochons and pendants.
  • Multiple jewelry disciplines — fusing, enameling, vitrigraph, and lampwork annealing each have a purpose-built option.
  • Precise control on a small footprint — accurate temperature control matters at jewelry scale, where a few degrees changes the result.
  • Quick-ship availability — many Hot-Shot models ship fast compared with made-to-order kilns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a small glass kiln anneal lampwork beads?
Annealing is essential for lampwork — without a controlled cool-down, beads crack from internal stress. A dedicated annealing cabinet lets you drop hot work in and run a proper cool-down cycle. Some compact glass kilns can also batch-anneal; tell us your workflow and we'll point you to the right one.
What is a vitrigraph kiln?
A vitrigraph kiln has an opening in the floor; you load glass in a pot or stack, heat it until it flows, and pull stringers and threads straight from the kiln for use in fusing and detail work. A powered lift makes the pull smooth and consistent.
Do I need a separate kiln for enameling?
Not strictly, but a compact, fast-cycling enameling kiln is convenient for small metal pieces and quick firings. It heats fast and lets you fire frequently without waiting on a large chamber.
Will these run on household power?
Many compact jewelry-scale kilns run on standard 120V, with larger options on 240V. Check the specific model's requirements, and see our Electrical & Power guide if you're unsure.
