Pull Glass Stringers Straight From the Kiln
The Hot Shot 7GV is built specifically for the vitrigraph process — pulling glass stringers and threads from a heated reservoir. The chamber and opening are designed around the workflow. The 7"D x7"Wx7"H interior chamber is sized for the work this oven was designed to do.
It reaches 1850°F. It runs on a standard 120V household outlet at 15 amps — no electrical upgrade needed.
Every Hot Shot oven is built in West Bend, Wisconsin and ships with the brand's patent-pending Cool-to-Touch Technology — the exterior stays safe to handle even at full temperature, thanks to a fan-cooled stainless steel core inside a powder-coated shell. Kanthal A1 heating elements, a Type K thermocouple, and a solid-state relay come standard.
