Small items load through the 2" flip door on the front, larger items go in through the top. With 11" x 4.5" of interior space and 0.27 cubic feet of capacity, it's sized right for beads, marbles, small pendants, test tiles, and short fusing runs.
What makes this kiln genuinely versatile is the included brick plug. When you don't need the flip door, slot the brick plug into the opening and you've converted your lamp working kiln into a full brick kiln, ready for fusing and slumping work. Two kilns in one footprint, no compromise on either job.
It runs on standard 120V household power with a regular NEMA 5-15 plug, so there's no electrician visit, no special outlet, no studio rewiring. Plug it into the wall and fire. Maxes out at 1700°F, which covers annealing, full fuse, tack fuse, and slumping for the size of work this kiln handles.
