The Champ XL has a lid element for fusing and slumping and a tall 18″ stand for easy access. The Champ XL is a winner for fusing and forming glass shapes, precious metal clay, and heat-treating and its square design provides the space for larger pieces on 120 volts. The model comes with a tall stand, peephole plug, lid wedge, and an instruction manual. Two-year warranty.
The Champ XL has a KilnStar digital controller equipping it. Upgrade to the Genesis touchscreen controller for more ramp-hold user programs and multiple features including delay start, preheat, skip step, and many more for precise firings every time. Messages and information are available for reviewing a firing profile before or during the firing, and for viewing the current segment the firing is in. Other options include the lid lift assist, which makes it easy to open and close heavy kiln lids, bead door, quartz glass viewing window, Type S thermocouple, vent, and much more!
Furniture Kits for 120-volt glass fusing and PMC kilns include two layers of shelving for stacking ware, assorted square posts, and ceramic paper. Choose the standard furniture kit or build your own with shelves and posts in the quantities required.
