The Paragon CT81713 Ceramic and Pottery Kiln combines a compact footprint with strong cone-10 performance, delivering 1.75 cubic feet of firing space in an efficient 8-sided design. It's an excellent choice for porcelain, stoneware, decals, china paint, and detailed gold work — ideal for teachers, dollmakers, and studio artists needing dependable results in a mid-small format kiln. With 6,408 watts of power, this model offers excellent heat recovery, faster heat-up, and consistent performance even as elements age.
3" firebrick construction, a solid-state relay, and a vent-ready AOP outlet come standard, along with smart design touches that make everyday use easier. A lock-in lid support ensures safe loading, tapered peepholes offer clear viewing, and two side hand lifts improve handling. Dropped, recessed element grooves eliminate the need for pins, and the reversible firebrick floor and coated lid, peepholes, and rim extend service life.
