A Studio Workhorse Built for Production
The Evenheat RM II 1822 is built for studios that fire regularly. Running on 240V, it has the power to reach cone 8 consistently and the chamber size to handle real production loads. The STP controller gives you programmable firing schedules so every run is repeatable to the degree.
✅ Best for: Production potters, studio artists, and serious hobbyists who fire 240V and need a reliable mid-to-large kiln for regular cone 6–8 work. This is the kiln we recommend most often to home studio potters upgrading from a smaller 120V unit. Great for stoneware, functional ware, and sculptural work that needs consistent results batch after batch.
❌ Not ideal for: Pure cone 10 high-fire work — the RM II maxes at cone 8. If you're committed to cone 10 porcelain or stoneware, look at the Olympic 1823HE or Cress ET18 instead. Also not the best fit if you're just starting out and unsure of your firing volume — the High Fire 810 on 120V is a lower-commitment entry point.
Key Features
~18" Dia. x 22" Deep Chamber — real production capacity between Evenheat's compact and full-size studio kilns
240V Operation — fast heat-up and the power to hold cone 8 through a full firing schedule
