Wide 28″ Stackable Electric Kiln — 6.67 cu ft, Cone 10
The Olympic 2818HE is the widest kiln in the stackable line at a manageable depth — 28¼″ across and 18″ deep, for 6.67 cubic feet. That width is the whole point: large platters, wide bowls, tile runs, and slab work that simply won't fit on a 23″ shelf.
Because the chamber is shallow rather than tall, you're never reaching down into a deep well to load it. For potters who fire a lot of flatware, or for a classroom loading bisque quickly, the wide-and-shallow geometry is easier on your back than a comparable cubic-foot kiln built deep.
Built with 3″ firebrick and rated to cone 10 (2350°F), it handles porcelain and high-fire stoneware without strain. All 28″-wide Olympic models use 3″ brick regardless of cone rating. A lid lift assist comes standard — essential on a lid this wide — and the sectional body separates into rings for moving.
