The Jen-Ken ProFusion 26 is the smallest kiln in the ProFusion family, but it's far from a compromise. The interior is a generous 26" wide by 26" long by 12" deep with 4.69 cubic feet of capacity, plenty of room for serious glass work. What makes this kiln genuinely special is the speed. With the included fiber shelf placed on the floor, you've got an all fiber interior top to bottom, and you can fire as fast as 500°F per hour. That's fast. Production studios can run multiple firings a day. Teaching studios get pieces ready for the next class.
The top is built from 2300°F rigid fiber with elements encased in quartz tubes, hanging just below the lid for maximum radiant heat where the glass needs it. The kiln ships with a fiber shelf that turns the chamber into an all fiber firing environment, so small pieces fuse even quicker.
The lid is a spring assisted clamshell that feels light even at this size. The whole kiln sits on an integrated stand with casters, so you can roll it where you need it. Standard 240V at 36 amps on a NEMA 6-50 plug, 8,640 watts. Friendlier on home and small studio electrical than the bigger ProFusion kilns.
