The Hot Shot 1200KC is a versatile Hot Shot oven configured for low-fire ceramics work. It handles bisque firing, glaze firing, and the general clay-to-ceramic transformation up to its rated temperature. Important: firing ceramics and applying glazes must be done in a well-ventilated area.The 12"Dx10"Wx10"H interior chamber gives you room for small bowls, mugs, sculptural test pieces, and bisque batches.
It reaches 2200°F, suitable for low-fire ceramics within that range — not designed to exceed it. It runs on 240V at 20 amps, which most home and small commercial shops already have available.
Every Hot Shot oven is built in West Bend, Wisconsin and ships with the brand's patent-pending Cool-to-Touch Technology — the exterior stays safe to handle even at full temperature, thanks to a fan-cooled stainless steel core inside a powder-coated shell. Kanthal A1 heating elements, a Type K thermocouple, and a solid-state relay come standard.
