Jen-Ken Kilns cover an unusually wide range of firing needs — from compact 120V plug-in ceramic and lampworking kilns to large production glass fusing kilns and their signature dual-media Ceram-A-Glass series that fires both ceramics and glass in a single unit. ProKilnSupply is an authorized Jen-Ken dealer serving home studios, working artists, schools, and production shops, with free freight on most models shipped to the US lower 48.

Key Advantages of Jen-Ken Kilns

  • 120V and 240V options across every category — glass, ceramic, dual-media, vitrigraph, annealing, and bead kilns, so you're not forced into a dedicated circuit just to get started.
  • Ceram-A-Glass dual-media series lets studios fire ceramics and fuse glass in one kiln — a space and cost advantage no other brand matches head-to-head.
  • AF3P all-fiber clamshell glass kilns heat up and cool down faster than brick kilns, enabling multiple firings per day from a standard household outlet.
  • Sizes from tabletop to production — from the 9" cube bead annealer all the way to the 52"-wide ProFusion, so you can grow without changing brands.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the AF3C and AF3P series?
The AF3C series uses firebrick construction and is designed for ceramics, firing to cone 8–10 depending on model. The AF3P series uses an all-fiber design optimized for glass work — faster heating and cooling, but not suitable for high-fire ceramics. Some AF3P models double as bead annealers or vitrigraph kilns.
Can a Ceram-A-Glass kiln really fire both ceramics and glass?
Yes. The Ceram-A-Glass series has a brick chamber for ceramics and a fiber lid element for glass fusing. You use different programs for each — one unit handles both materials without modification. See our Buying Guides for help choosing the right model.
Do Jen-Ken kilns require a special electrical circuit?
It depends on the model. Many smaller AF3P glass kilns run on standard 120V household power. Most ceramic and larger glass kilns require a 240V dedicated circuit. Our Electrical & Power guide explains what's involved.
How long does it take for a Jen-Ken kiln to ship?
Jen-Ken kilns are made to order. Current lead times are typically 12–16 weeks, though this can vary. Contact us before ordering to confirm the most current production timeline.
Is financing available?
Yes — Shop Pay financing is available for eligible orders, including 0% APR options. Select Shop Pay at checkout to see available plans.
