The Paragon CT61109 Ceramic and Pottery Kiln is a compact, precision-oriented kiln designed for small-scale ceramic work where accuracy and efficiency matter. With an 11" interior diameter and 9" depth (0.56 cu ft), it's suited for porcelain pieces, china painting, metal clay, jewelry projects, and test tiles. Its portable size, fast firing capability, and ability to run on a standard 120V circuit with a 30A breaker make it an excellent choice for home studios, classrooms, and professional environments needing reliable small-batch results.
Exceptionally heavy insulation — 2-1/2" firebrick backed by an additional 2" of block insulation, a 3" thick lid, and a 4-1/2" thick floor — keeps this kiln efficient and durable. A coated lid and rim protect the firebrick during loading, and a full-formed galvanized steel base adds strength and stability. Many artists keep the CT61109 even after adding a larger kiln, using it for test firings, glaze troubleshooting, and small batches before committing to full-size loads.
