Olympic Raku gas kilns bisque, high fire (cone 10), reduce, and raku — all in one updraft kiln. They're built from durable firebrick and use venturi burner systems for even, controllable firings on either natural gas or propane.
What makes a raku kiln different is the hand-crank lift chamber: a turn of the winch raises the firing chamber straight up, giving you fast, easy access to red-hot ware while keeping the heat trapped in the kiln and away from you. The 23 Raku is the mid-size model — a versatile choice for studios and potters who want more capacity than the 18 without stepping up to the large 28.

Frame welded to the firing chamber, venturi burner system with multi-point ignition and thermocouple safety shut-off, peephole plugs, a brick for covering the porthole during reduction, full instruction manual, and a 1-year limited kiln warranty through Olympic.
Popular add-ons include a digital pyrometer, an electronic high-limit controller, castors, a low-pressure propane regulator, raku tongs, and gloves. Give us a call and we'll help you spec the right setup.
