Large 28″ Stackable Electric Kiln — 10 cu ft, Cone 10
The Olympic 2827HE is a 10 cubic foot high-fire production kiln — 28¼″ wide by 27″ deep, rated to cone 10 (2350°F). For a working studio firing porcelain or high-fire stoneware at volume, this is where the stackable line becomes serious equipment.
The chamber is generous in both directions, so you're not choosing between wide platters and tall vessels — you can load both in the same firing. With 3″ firebrick throughout, a chamber this size holds heat efficiently and cools gently, which matters for glaze development and for how long a set of elements lasts.
This kiln is direct-wired — no plug — in every configuration, drawing 56 amps at 240V or 64 amps at 208V single phase on a 70 or 80 amp breaker with #4 copper. Have your electrician confirm your service before you order; call us and we'll walk through the requirements with you.
A lid lift assist comes standard, and the sectional body separates into rings so even a 10 cubic foot kiln can be brought in one section at a time.
