The Paragon KM18 Knife Making Kiln is built for knifemakers, bladesmiths, metalsmiths, and fabrication shops that need additional chamber depth for longer blades, tooling, and specialty components. With an 18" deep firing chamber and rugged firebrick construction, the KM18 offers more capacity than entry-level knife kilns while keeping the precision serious heat treating demands.

Bringing heat treating in-house gives makers complete control over normalization cycles, hardening temperatures, tempering schedules, soak times, and cooling profiles. The 18" depth comfortably handles longer knives, small tooling, punches, dies, Damascus billets, and batch processing of smaller components.
