The Paragon KM45 Knife Making Kiln is built for swordsmiths, professional bladesmiths, educators, and fabrication shops that need maximum chamber length. With a 5.5" W x 45" D x 4.25" H chamber — the longest in the KM Base series — the KM45 provides the capacity and precision for full-size swords, long blades, tooling, and batch heat treating.
Bringing heat treating in-house gives makers complete control over normalization cycles, hardening temperatures, tempering schedules, soak times, and cooling profiles. The extended chamber accommodates full-length swords, machetes, long chef knives, tooling, punches, dies, and multiple blades processed simultaneously.
