Deep 18″ Stackable Electric Kiln — 3″ Brick, Cone 10
The Olympic 1827HE is the high-fire version of the deep 18″ stackable — same 17.5″ × 27″ chamber and 3.95 cubic feet of space, but built with 3″ firebrick instead of 2.5″ and rated to cone 10 (2350°F). If you're firing porcelain or true cone 10 stoneware, this is the one to reach for.
The thicker brick does double duty: it gets you the high-fire rating, and it insulates better, so the kiln holds heat more efficiently and cools more gently — which matters for glaze development and for the life of your elements.
Like the rest of the stackable line, the body comes apart into sections. That means it can go through a narrow doorway or down a basement stair one ring at a time, and years from now you can service the one section that needs work rather than the whole kiln.
