Built on Paragon's proven Ceramic Top platform, this model combines durability and performance with the flexibility of Janus dual-mode firing, allowing studios to expand capabilities without adding equipment.
The Janus dual-mode system uses dedicated top and sidewall elements, controlled by a simple toggle switch. Glass mode activates the top and mid-side elements for controlled radiant heat — ideal for fusing and slumping — while pottery mode uses sidewall elements only for even heat distribution during bisque and glaze firings. This flexibility makes the CT81713 Janus an excellent choice for multi-disciplinary artists or studios looking to maximize output from a single kiln.
