The GTS Series represents Evenheat’s original glass kiln design of top loading, full brick construction. The GTS 41 is their largest top-loading glass kiln and is built with a fiber lid that offers firing speed and light weight.
The chamber is built entirely of firebrick which acts to smooth the heating process and provide excellent annealing. The best of both worlds combined to deliver the performance you expect.
The large firing chamber measures 41" x 25-1/4" and fits either our full, seamless shelf or half shelf system. It offers an enormous amount of firing area and fits well into studio and production settings alike.

The GTS 41 is designed for glass fusing, slumping, draping, casting and any other glass work up to 1800°F.

Features
The lid of the GTS 41 is constructed of a fiber material that provides excellent thermal properties along with light weight. This design allows the heating elements to be positioned on the surface for maximum heat transfer and firing efficiency.
The GTS 41 is a top loading design and offers a chamber 41" wide x 25.25" long x 13.5" deep. The rim of the chamber is 32" off the floor which is at waist height or lower making it very easy to load and position your glass.
The GTS 41 is constructed of both fiber and firebrick. The entire lid of the GTS 41 is constructed of fiber to reduce the overall weight of the lid as well as severely limiting lid debris.
The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across your studio. It's that simple.
The GTS 41 is equipped with a 2 position lid vent. The lower vent position props the lid by about an inch. Perfect for venting off adhesives and other low temperature binding materials. The upper vent position props the lid by about 4 inches. Perfect for speeding up the cooling process.
The GTS 41 incorporates our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement.
To assist you in replacing worn items we have included a maintenance parts tag on the GTS 41 indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items.
The GTS 41 is standard equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if the lid is opened.
Quiet Drive Solid State Relay
Evenheat's patented Quiet Drive Solid State Relay is hands down the best investment you can make in your kiln!
With no moving parts, this relay is able to be triggered up to 60 times a second as opposed to the upper limit of 10 times a second on the default mechanical relay. This means incredibly tight temperature control ensuring each and every one of your firings is as accurate as possible.
The Quiet Drive uses a special method call "Zero Crossing" that will ensure that the heating elements are off when the voltage is at 0V - Giving your heating elements a break so that they will last longer, and you'll save energy!
The best part though? Since there are no moving parts - the Quiet Drive Solid State relay should never need replacing! You will save money and time by never needing to worry about this in the future!

Rampmaster
The Rampmaster provides additional versatility over the Set-Pro controller.
With a numerical keypad,
it allows the operators to create up to 12 firing programs, each including up to 8 segments.
Need to make adjustments as you go? On-the-fly adjustments and other menu functions are available to provide additional control and create your ideal firing profile.
The Rampmaster also supports the Loud Alarm option.
Set-Pro
The Set-Pro is our basic, no frills controller. It gets the job done, but does not offer nearly as much flexibility as the others.
It offers the option to create 8 firing programs, with 8 segments each.
This is a good choice if you're only planning to occasionally use your oven and do not want room to expand in the future.
Furniture Kit
Furniture Kits are necessary accessories for any kiln owner as firing directly on the kiln floor is not only bad for the kiln, but your pieces as well. In addition to this, they're also useful! A furniture kit will allow you to stack multiple shelves on top of one another in order to maximize the useable space when firing smaller pieces.
If you have one that will fit this kiln size already, then you're in luck! But if not, you'll want to ensure you add this to your order as well.
Furniture Kit includes:
- Two (2) Half Shelves
- Twelve (12) 1/2" High Posts. All posts 1" square.
- One (1) 5" Post (included for venting purposes)
- One (1) Haik Brush
- One (1) 24oz. Glass Separator
Kiln furniture can be special ordered separately, but if done so the cost is ~10-20% higher and will incur a separate shipping charge. It's best to include this on your initial order of the kiln.

Stand with caster wheels
The standard order of this kiln comes with a stationary stand built to handle the weight, heat, and shape of the kiln. While this works perfectly fine, attempting to move your kiln can be a difficult maneuver and could result in a damaged stand, or worse - a broken kiln!
Ordering a stand with caster wheels ensures the whole process of moving your kiln for any reason is a smooth and simple process.
No longer worry about if you're running out of room within your garage - you can tuck your kiln away in a corner when it's not in use! And of course - if you're one for moving the kiln around the studio or other rooms, this is essentially a necessity.
When ordered with a vent system - make sure to detach first before moving the kiln.
Depending on the model, the stand will vary in height. Its primary use is for mobility.
