Heat Treat Power on a Standard Household Outlet
If your shop only has standard household power, the Evenheat KH 418 is built for you. It runs on a 120V outlet — no electrical upgrades needed — and still reaches a true heat treat temperature.The 6.5" W x 4.25" H x 18" Deep chamber gives you 0.29 cubic feet of working space. That's enough room to handle a meaningful production batch — knives, small tool work, jewelry heat treat, and similar tasks all fit comfortably.
The 418 fires up to 2200°F (Cone 5.5), which covers the vast majority of steels used in knife making and small parts heat treat. It runs on 120V at 13 amps with a NEMA 5-15 plug.
